About pouch

Pouch started from a recurring frustration: "I need this file on that machine, in five minutes, and the options are all bad." Email, cloud drives, chat attachments, USB sticks — every one of them is a multi-step ceremony or a privacy compromise or both.

Pouch is the thing I wanted to reach for instead: a personal data relay. You capture something on one device. It's available on another. When you're done with it, it's gone. When you want it to last, it lasts — on your infrastructure, not ours.

What makes pouch different

Most tools in this space lean one of two ways: note-taking (which optimizes for forever-storage and rich editing) or file sync (which optimizes for mirroring folder trees). Pouch is neither. It's built around the observation that most personal data is in-flight, not at rest — and the small portion that matters long-term deserves explicit, opt-in durability.

Ephemeral by default. Durable by opt-in. Programmable. Yours.

Why paid from day one

A product that handles your personal data should be funded by you, not by selling access to you. We don't run ads, mine your content, or pressure you toward features you didn't ask for. One plan, one price, clear boundaries.

The 14-day trial is long enough to see whether pouch fits your workflow — no credit card required to start. If it does, keep going. If not, take your data with you, any time, in one click.

Who builds this

Pouch is a product of Pointegrity, a small independent software house based in Taiwan. We build slowly, in public. Our engineering decisions are logged with rationale in our journal (coming soon). If you want to know why pouch works the way it does, you can read it.
